What's a Network Administrator?

Network administrators oversee the functions of computer networks in organizations. This could include configuring computer hardware, applications software and systems software. In this position, you could be responsible for setting up local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN) and network security systems. You might also operate master consoles to collect data, maintain the network and monitor its performance. Some of your other job duties could include the following:
