Certification Requirements for Accountants in Tennessee

If you plan to file reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission as an accountant, you are required by law to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). To become a CPA in Tennessee, you must obtain certification from the Tennessee State Board of Accountancy.
