What Colleges Offer a Bachelor's Degree in Planning and Design?

Urban Planners and Designers develop blueprints, schemes or strategies for the use of land. Urban Planners and Designers are needed by state and local governments to regulate commercial and residential development, especially in areas of increasing population. Many respected colleges and universities offer Bachelor of Urban Planning and Design programs. Three of the largest schools with Urban Planning programs include the Arizona State University College of Design, Michigan State University's School of Planning, Design and Construction and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign College of Fine and Applied Arts. Arizona State University College of Design

The College of Design's School of Planning at Arizona State University offers a Bachelor of Science in Planning degree. Students are prepared for entry-level positions in the field or for continued graduate study in Urban Planning and Design.
