The BLS predicts job availability for radiologic and MRI technicians is expected to increase by 21% over the 2012-2022 decade, and opportunities for physicians and surgeons, including radiologists, are likely to expand by 18% over that period of time. Job seekers who have experience with more than one diagnostic imaging tool will have the best chances for employment.
