Kaplan University's Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program is designed to provide students with an understanding of important management concepts. The curriculum focuses on helping students develop their knowledge of business while building technical skills and productive work habits. Points of emphasis include teamwork, leadership, critical thinking, communication, and problem solving. Students in the program have the opportunity to personalize a degree in business administration by taking a concentration of electives through a career focus area. Students have the opportunity to study various aspects of finance, human resources, marketing, operations, and accounting principles that they could use to purse employment in the business world.

180 credits. Kaplan University defines an academic year as the time in which a full-time student is expected to complete three terms of instructional time. Full-time students are expected to complete at least 36 credit hours within the academic year.
