The Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Finance program is available online and at some University of Phoenix campuses and provides you with the opportunity to study areas of accounting, critical thinking and decision-making, finance, business law, management, marketing, organizational behavior, research and evaluation, and technology. Core courses in a diverse business curriculum include accounting, marketing, business law, ethics and communications.
Interested students should have some experience or interest in working in a financial environment. Previous introductory courses in financial management can be helpful, but are not mandatory. Applicants to University of Phoenix's programs should have a high school diploma or GED.
You must complete 120 semester-credits (124 for Kansas residents) to earn University of Phoenix's Bachelor of Science in Business degree with a concentration in Finance. The total number of credits includes 15 credit hours in the finance area of concentration, which consists of four required courses and two business electives.
