Once enrolled in the University of Phoenix Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration with a concentration in Management program, students have the opportunity to study criminal justice theories, procedures and policies. Area of concentration courses address leadership, change management, financial principles, communication, organizational behavior and personnel issues relating to criminal justice institutions. Courses in criminal justice administration cover criminal law, ethics, criminology, corrections, criminal courts and organized crime. You should be interested in or possibly have some experience working in a law enforcement or court environment. Though not required, you might have taken previous courses to develop management and communication skills. Applicants to University of Phoenix programs should have a high school diploma or GED.
