If you enroll in the Bachelor of Science in Human Services/Management program, you will have the opportunity to examine theories in social, psychological and behavioral services. Through participation in workshops and presentations, students will have the chance to develop communication, planning and people skills. The program is also intended to introduce students to local service organizations and help them develop skills in grant research and writing. Other human services topics include field-specific regulations, cultural diversity and program evaluation. Additionally, the curriculum is intended to introduce business concepts such as marketing strategies, consumer behavior, financial planning, data analysis and accounting. This bachelor's degree curriculum accounts for 60 credit hours of study. However, students must complete additional general education and elective courses in order to meet the 120-credit minimum requirement (124 for Kansas) for graduation.
