The Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership with a specialization in Information Systems and Technology program at University of Phoenix combines an education in management and leadership theories and techniques with an emphasis on business information technology. Learners have the opportunity to study global systems, domains, information systems implementation, networking, database management and techniques for offering information systems support. Courses are also offered in critical thinking, communications and organizational theory. Doctoral seminars and courses addressing research methods and techniques are designed to assist learners with the development and completion of a dissertation.
Current experience in a corporate or business environment is important. Previous courses focusing on technology or management can be helpful, but are not essential. Applicants to University of Phoenix's graduate programs should have already earned a bachelor's degree.

A total of 62 credits must be completed in order to earn this doctorate.
