Walden University's online Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (General) provides you with the opportunity to develop communication, organizational, management, and analytical skills that apply in most business settings. Required business courses cover accounting concepts, management theories, business legal issues, operations management, business plan development, change management, financial strategies, marketing fundamentals, and organizational behavior. You will also study management concepts used in human resources, finance, operations, small business ownership, and information systems. A capstone course allows you to apply methods and techniques to a real-world case analysis. The program usually takes about four-and-a-half years to complete, although time to completion may vary by student, depending on individual progress and credits transferred, if applicable.
